Canva makes pretty images happen!

Canva makes pretty images happen!

I have a secret to tell you. I’m not a graphic artists or designer! I know, I know, you’re shocked because you have seen my awesome images on the site and the sweet quotes I have been posting on social media. Or maybe you’re not surprised. Either way, now that you know my secret, let me tell you what tool I have been using to make all of these images.

Canva isn’t new. Founded in 2012 in Sydney, Australia by Melanie Perkins, Cliff Obrecht, and Cameron Adams, Canva has been around for a few years. Even though Canva has been around, I thought I would give you a quick look at Canva and what it could do with your site.

It starts with a design.

After you set up an account and log in, you get to your little dashboard. When you are looking at your dashboard, you will see that you can quickly pick a design by type. For example, if you are looking for an image for a Facebook post all you have to do is click on the Facebook Post. Let’s do that.

Once you do click on the Facebook Post, a template will now pop up. On the left side of your dashboard, you will now have many different layouts. On the right is your blank template.

If there is something you like on the left, you just click on the photo. Once clicked the photo layout will now move over to the right side. At this point, you can edit the layout. If you want to see Canva in action watch this simple video guide.

Use it already.

If you are looking for a great tool to create images for your site, Facebook page or groups, or other things just give Canva a try. There are free images for use, but most are around $1.00. I think it’s a great price to pay to get great looking images on your products. Try it out and let me know what you think about Canva.
