#AskGaryVee: One Entrepreneur's Take on Leadership, Social Media, and Self-Awareness -- by Gary Vaynerchuk

First I have to say that even though I have the hard copy of the book, this little review is from the audio version available on audible.com.

This is one of those books that you can stop and pick up at any time without being worried that you can't remember what the topic was about. This is all about Gary answering questions that are all over the map when it comes to strategy, business, entrepreneurship, and even some personal stuff. I have found that most people either love or hate Gary, but I find myself in the middle. I don't mind his occasional bluster when it comes to his ego or bragging because he is putting in the real work. I do however have some disagreements on topics like what a true entrepreneur really is and some other things. However, with this book he gives both broad answers to current business topics ans well as some very actionable answers that you can start implementing today.

Living Forward: A Proven Plan to Stop Drifting and Get the Life You Want -- by Michael Hyatt & Daniel Harkavy

First I have to say that even though I have the hard copy of the book, this little review is from the audio version available on audible.com.

Thought I would stop listening to the book to let everyone in on this one! I know, I know, it's already a bestseller and many of you have already looked at this book. But... if you haven't you should.

I am only about have way through, but I have had to actually stop and refer back to what was said and I have even checked out my hard copy of the book to get the the many different steps you can take to get your life going in the direction you want it to go.  As I try to steer my life and career to fit my digital lifestyle I am and will continue to use the tips and tricks in this book to make it happen.

Since I listened to the last two books I thought I would put a little linky for you to get these books on audible.com. I have had my subscription to audible.com for a couple of months and I am loving the ability to listen to the books whenever I want. Granted, I still bought the hard copy's of the books too, but when I'm in the car having my books to listen to is a great way to make some dead time productive. The link below is an affiliate link which means I get paid if you click and buy something. It costs you nothing, but gives me a few bucks for recommending something that I use and would be recommending anyway. If you don't feel comfortable clicking the link, at least look up audible.com for yourself. It is worth the cost!

Stop Chasing Influencers: The True Path to Building Your Business and Living Your Dream -- by Kimanzi Constable & Jared Easley

This is one of those books that I find makes me stop reading to outline how I am going to take their advice and make it work for me. Broken into 4 different parts the book takes you through the why's of what you're doing, cover what used to work and more importantly what works now. With the fourth part teaching you how to leverage what you are either putting into place or have in place.

Not only do they tell you what they have done, but they also walk you through the steps to do what they did. I feel that the authors truly want you to be successful and are not just talking up what they have done. I suggest you read this front to back, then go back to the sections you want to tackle.

You can pick it up for your Kindle. Go ahead. We'll wait --> Stop Chasing Influencers: The True Path to Building Your Business and Living Your Dream
